To find out if you qualify, simply contact our sales department. You will have most of your questions answered, and they can set up a convenient time for out technician to do a physical study. Within approximately 3 days, we can tell you if you can qualify as exempt - and proceed to the next step in getting you exempt from taxes and a refund of taxes paid.

To do this, you will be required to sign a Limited Power of Attorney, giving Patriot Utility Solutions rights to obtain billing statements, file an exemption request in your behalf, and submit a request to the state comptroller for a refund of taxes. We will also need a copy of at least the past 12 months utility statements for each meter (gas and electric) so we can calculate the usage. If you can provide the past 48 months, it would put you ahead of the game and give us everything we need to complete the entire process.

Keep in mind that once you are exempt, you will not only be exempt from taxes for the next 48 months, but will also receive a refund of taxes you've paid the previous 48 months! This alone could amount to several thousands of dollars in saved revenue!
